I've been to Urban Gypsy a couple of times. The visit 2.5 weeks ago ended with me dissatisfied with my coloring job since I felt there were still roots showing, which I think may have been just a communication error, honestly (I say this due to previous fabulous coloring jobs). Even if it wasn't and it was a flat out mistake, they fixed it for free. Another stylist did the fix, but I wouldn't have minded if the original one had since the cut was fantastic and I had previously had great experiences with him.
Everyone in there is nice. It's quiet and pleasant... unbelievably void of the normal snottiness you find in great hair salons. Even the stylist who made the 'mistake' greeted me and was incredibly pleasant. There was zero attitude.
I won't be going elsewhere and don't suggest anyone else does and I highly recommend *any* of the stylists.
