After my daughter was at another studio for 7 years (including 2 on pointe), we were both very surprised and delighted when we switched to Young Dance Academy . The previous studio we were at was using young adults with very limited experience to teach some of their more advanced classes. When my daughter took ballet and jazz classes at Young Dance, she realized that she had never been trained properly. She says it is the difference between night and day now that she is at Young Dance. She loves it. Her instructors are very highly skilled dancers (having been with professional dance companies) and although they really make her work hard, she loves it. They are very helpful in correcting the improper techniques that were taught at her previous studio. If you are looking for a great, and I mean great, studio...please consider Young Dance. I wish someone would have told us about them 7 years ago.
Pros: very talented, highly motivating instructors. Learning proper techniques while having fun. The older dancers get challenged
