Interesting. I did a search to read these reviews again, after taking a really awful hiphop class at Shockra. I saw the one review that panned the class, which really confirms my experience. I think she's probably right Shockra wrote the rest of the reviews on here. They're way blown up, and it just doesn't correspond to my experience. And the other people in the class didn't seem to make much improvement or have much fun either. We all sort of talked after class about how Jessica is really not a very good teacher.
But I didn't think it was the worst class I'd ever taken or anything. Just didn't get much out of it, or learn anything new, and wouldn't recommend anyone pay for it! There are better teachers and classes at my gym - and those are free with membership, plus you get a lot more!
