Said they could diagnose electrical just as well as the dealer. Had our vehicle in for 2 full days on separate occasions. Fixed 1/2 the problem - but was still having issues. They could not diagnose the root problem, so they speculated that the issue was from aftermarket equipment (wheels? dvd player, back-up camera, stereo). I am not willing to put the vehicle back to stock condition so they can work on it - when it's worked fine for years with everything installed. They only charged me for the $100 diagnosis fee - which I felt was fair for 2 days of trying. I spoke to the owner & feel they honestly tried. They were very nice and offered one more try. It's a difficult case, but I felt if they thought it was due to all the aftermarket items - they should have been able to take care of the troubleshooting in 2 days. I just don't have the time in my busy life to spare a vehicle when my wife needs it and I am out of town a lot. I troubleshot it myself after I brought it home and it hasn't done it since - but if it does it again - I'll go to the dealer because they have the ability to swap out OEM parts. I may come back to Ron's if I have a separate problem. Sorry I had to write this "less-than-shining" review, but it's exactly what happened. I may recommend them to someone as a friendly mechanic shop - but not for electrical issues. Pros: nice people - I may recommend them for certain issues. Cons: could not fix an electrical problem in 2 days.
