Our experience with them was horrific! When we dropped off Archie the Westie, the staff was very inattentive and made an already difficult departure worse. The manager gave us a short tour of the facilities, which was fairly clean. During the tour, the manager kept offering an exit bath. We weren't interested in the exit bath but he kept insisting and eventually offered the $25 bath free of charge. We still declined and couldn't understand why he was so persistent. Well, we returned to pick up Archie and finally understood his persistence. Never have I seen an animal covered in so much feces. His stomach and legs were soaked with urine, so much that he left puddles on the leather seats of our car. We tried to address the issue with the manager but he was completely useless and said we'd need to discuss the it with the owners, who were conveniently unavailable. Immediately bathing him we found he also had feces stuck between the pads of his paws with red, blistery soars underneath. We immediately took him to the vet where he received $400 worth of treatment. When we called the owner to explain what had happened, he justified EVERYTHING saying that it was Archie's fault because the Westie breed was too low to the ground making it easier for him to get dirty. How can any dog stay clean when their main play area is a small room made of solid concrete? He told me it would be impossible to bathe all the pets anytime they get dirty, which I understand TO A POINT! But it was so obvious Archie spent more than a couple days in this filthy state. Sadly, the owner wouldn't even give us apology. It took Archie almost 3 weeks to get back to his old self.
