I grew up in Donelson and my family always got everything from Beckers Bakery. Their fudge pies are to die for! Today, I am 46 years old and I have continued the tradition of getting all my cakes and pies from Beckers. Their Orange Chiffon cake is the ultimate. I don't know what happened with the one lady who complained about the dry cakes. I think if she had said something to the owners they would have done something to correct it as their family reputation means alot to them I know. If you live anywhere in Donelson or Hermitage this should be your bakery of choice! Yes, the cookies are excellent as well. Having "grown up" with this bakery, it's a part of our family and will continue to be for however long it stays in business.
Pros: Childhood memories and delcious baked goods--family owned bakery, The BEST!
Cons: Parking can be a problem, but you can just go next door temporarily if needed.
