Review content:
After a nightmare first impression at David's, where they didn't listen to anything I said and didn't let me browse at all - I stopped at this salon on my way home. I was allowed to browse through all the gowns - clearance and regular priced, with no pressure and annoying questions, like what is your budget (mine happens to be whatever it costs to get a dress I want - but I start inexpensive and move up as needed!) David's wouldn't let me pick out my dresses to try, the "consultant" did that. The consultant at Davids immediately brought me a Huge underskirt, even though I clearly stated that I wanted a sheath, straight dress. I told her I WILL NOT be buying a dress that needed that slip and she said JUST TRY IT. No annoying issues at Allure, I could try on anything I wanted! Still haven't found my dress, but appreciated the fact that I could walk in and look around. And try things on so I can decide what I want, not what they wanted to sell me :)
