We went there on the advice of the first reviewer. I would suggest reservations on a weekend. We were seated w/o them at 5:45, but it was packed right after that, and reservations were needed then. We ordered the pizza. The crust was fantastic. The ovens they use are appropriately VERY hot and create a perfectly cooked pie. The pepperoni was italian. The pizza was topped with a great mix of seasonings. We'll be back. We sat near the kitchen and smelled the regular italian dishes coming out to the dining area, and all smelled fantastic. The crowd was older, and was a sign to me that this is one of those places you know about after you've lived in Pleasanton awhile. Small, personal staff that gets overwhelmed by the dinner rush, but very nice. Pros: Great pizza, Nice casual setting, Reasonable value Cons: Service spotty
