Review content:
OK - so Max's is a local spot. One would think they would take care of their guests since they are likely to live in the neighborhood and have the potential to be repeat customers - nope. My husband and I went in for dinner one night and wanted to use an AmEx gift card to pay for dinner. Long story short - the idiot server swiped it incorrectly so they told us we needed to use another form of payment and the money would be refunded by AmEx after 24 hours. First of all - what if we didn't have another form of payment? Secondly, it took them a half hour to figure all this out and they didn't even offer to take a drink off our bill. Horrible way to end an evening that was decent up until that point.
Pros: Nothing's worth the stupid management
Cons: Poor management and customer care
