Businiess name:  US Outdoor Store

US Outdoor's website and selection are both pretty good. Pricing is OK, but an attractive option for me since I don't live too far away so shipping costs/time are minimal. Two different attempts at online orders have been greeted with a day or so wait before getting another e-mail that says "sorry - we don't have your item." Those of you reading at home probably understand the level of frustration that results when you get an e-mail instead of your stuff. I never detected any malice or rudeness from the staff, but I really think management needs to get a clue because the customer service/reliability aren't even close to REI, Sierra Trading Post, Backcountry, etc. - you can do better elsewhere. Try Next Adventure in Portland. Pros: Decent website and selection Cons: 0 for 2 on orders with me. Tha'ts enough.
