The main thing that bugged me about this place is that the website shows a beautiful view of the Ferry Building and the Bay Bridge, but you can't actually SEE any of this from ANY of the rooms in the hotel! It's only visible from the walkways to and from the rooms. As a visitor from out of state, I would have appreciated a more honest approach from the website, since we ended up paying up for a room with a balcony and a view, which mostly consisted of the side of another building. I was also disappointed by the "atrium," which houses like 20 fake ferns. Isn't an atrium supposed to be filled with lush [live] greenery??? Whatever. The rooms were okay, but a little small, and again, the view was less-than-impressive. The location was good for taking the trolley, shopping, and visiting the Saturday Farmers Market at the Ferry Building, but for us, it was too far from the other scenic sites (Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Park, etc.). Just make sure before you visit San Francisco, you really research where you want to go before booking the hotel. Pros: Close to shopping Cons: Not really close to that much else, and not very well-appointed.
