Review content:
What a rare find .. a mechanic that is not only good at what he does but is honest too! You'll find it at JPM Automotive in Interlochen. I took my car there, on the recommendation of the guys at Thirby's, after it died going down the road. He listened to what I had to say and didn't talk down to me even though I'm a woman (which is kinda hard to find at other service places). After having the car towed there after hours, he called the next day with what could be the trouble but wouldn't know until he got in there to look more closely. After a couple of days he called to tell me it was all fixed and to tell me that usually the water pump is changed the same time as the timing belt but on my car it was in good shape and didn't need to be replaced saving me hundreds of dollars! He was extremely apologatic that it took so long to get it fixed (I didn't think it was an unreasonable amount of time) and cut most of his labor cost off of the final bill. I have recommened numerous friends and family members and all have been increadibly happy with his work and with his prices.
I liked being kept informed of what was going on and the fact that he discounted my bill because he felt the repairs took too long to complete .. without my saying so! JPM Automotive is THE place for auto repairs in the Traverse City area!
