My son was five and a half when he started attending the school and will be eight this winter. He has really enjoyed the experience and after a few classes, wanted to continue on until he was a black belt like the instructors. They strive to make the experience a well rounded one expecially for the little kids. They teach them by having fun. Most of the time the little ones do not know they are really learing. We tried my son in a couple of other schools before deciding on Rockdale Karate. The other schools were more expensive, had fewer days you could attend and did not seem to teach them anything while they were visiting. Rockdale Karate taught my child the proper bow on the first day. It is a great school of Tae Kwon Do instruction and I am grateful we found it.
