I found this spa online. I wanted to surprise my mother with a spa package. When I called to inquire about scheduling appoitments the receptionist on the phone explained to me that I could purchase a gift card over the phone for the service amount plus tip (optional) . I was talked out of just paying for it the day of the service. After I spent over $200 dollars they than asked me if I could set up the appoitments for her day package since limited time was available. I did this. We live out of state and dont get the opportunity to visit Columbus regulary. I was explained I had two years to use the gift card. I set up all the appoitments and had her scheduled to come in at 12pm on that wednesday. I dropped my mother off at the spa on that wednesday and they had no records of my scheduled appoitments and could not squeeze me in . This I did not understand because there were about 5 employees sitting in the lobby.. leaving us nowhere to sit. They asked if i wanted to reschedule not having time i politely said no and wanted my money back. I was told that I could not have my money back because it was put on a gift card and they can not refund my money. I was very upset because on the phone I was talked into buying a gift card. The recpetionist was not helpful and explained to me that there was nothing she could offer me because she wasnt the owner. I asked for the owners name and was told that she was not able to provide that information for me. Needless to say I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Seems as if they are more interested in your money than providing a relaxing environment for their clients. VERY DISAPOINTED!
