Review content:
The lamp/mirror unit broke right at the start of my facial and it took about 10 minutes to find a replacement. The aesthitician did extractions for all of 30 seconds, although I specifically said I was there for deep cleaning/extractions - MORE annoyingly she chattered through the whole treatment about how bad my skin was (yes, it had been awhile since I had a facial) and after the treatment was done I was not offered a mirror to look at my skin - no, I was whisked into the dimly lit dressing room, with horrible lighting I still couldn't see if the facial was satisfactory. When I asked the front desk for a mirror, he offered to turn up the (overhead) lights in the dressing room so I could look in the mirror there. Needless to say I will not return here. If you want to be pampered, DEFINITELY go to Burke Williams or Beverly Glen Facials, or Lucas in Echo Park - in comparison, 'dtox' day spa leaves lot to be desired. Pros: Location Cons: Amateurish facility, inadequate treatment
