Review content:
I found this salon is all pomp but no substance. The guy who did my "highlights" was not very good at all. He asked me what color highlights I wanted but didn't give me any feedback on what color would actually LOOK GOOD. He just went ahead and did the "highlights" but when he blow dried it, there were NO HIGHLIGHTS! Where were the highlights?! I said that it came out darker than I would've liked. He then quickly cut me off and said that I should come in next time! What a jerk! He wasn't at the least bit concerned about my feelings at all. I should've spoken to the manager but I just wanted to run from that salon as fast as I could. I'm not a cheap person, it doesn't matter how much it is, I'll pay for it but I expect a decent job! I've lived in California and went to great salons in LA and had some talents do my hair 'cause they actually cared to spend a little time to consult. All great salons do that. They make sure that what you're asking them to do is possible & consistent with a desirable outcome. It's not fair to pay anything for highlights that don't show. I would not recommend this salon; not unless you want to throw away your money. Go find a salon that is NOT PRETENTIOUS and actually cares about your concerns! After all, they are charging you for EVERY SINGLE THING- coloring, shampooing, blow drying, sitting there.
