Review content:
We had another floor company refinish our floors. After a few months the finish started to chip and peel off. We tried to contact that company to have them fix our floors only to find out that they have left the country. We were referred to the Wizard of Wood floors by our neighbor. Mike came out and explained to us that the other company did not prepare the floor properly and the finish coats were not adhering to the stain. He explained that they would have to sand off the bad finish and re-stain the floor and reapply the new finish. Wow what a big difference After they applied the new stain. They did a much better job sanding the floor than the other company did. The stain was more even and was not cloudy like it was before. After they applied the finish I took a knife and tried to scratch the floor to peel or chip the finish. I was unable to. I wish we had used Wizard of wood floors the first time it would have saved us a lot of time and money.
