I have almost always heard good things about Sherwin Williams paints and stains. So when it came time for us to stain our deck, That is where I went. Nice store with a good selection. We applied stain as directed. Our deck wood had cured, we powerwashed it and allowed it to dry as recommeneded. Applied stain, and it looked pretty good, that is until a few snows and 6 months later. While preparing back yard for spring, we noticed out stain peeling off the deck. In huge chunks. We contacted the store hoping for some type of advice or compensation. We received nothing. The manager pretty much told us that they wouldn't do a thing for us and that you have to apply there stain yearly. I am not a happy customer and won't be returning.
