Review content:
Had a tooth extracted from Dr. Kozacko. His office recommended that I be put to sleep but I chose general numbing. In my years of having novacaine shots Dr. Kozacko was the roughest yet. Rough meaning he entered my mouth very quick with the needle and was a bit forceful with my mouth. It made me flinch to have this long needle come at me so fast. After I was all numbed, the tooth extraction was easy. It took all of 5 minutes to take out the tooth. My appt. was at 9am and I was driving away at 9:30am. This included the pre-payment at desk, prepping by nurse, novacaine shots, numbing time of approx 10 min., surgery and post op care instructions. I didn't feel a thing during the surgery, even when he said I would feel alot of pressure it was nothing. I don't really see why putting me to sleep was necessary for a 5 min. procedure. He recommended an implant at a cost of $1700.00 and an extra $335.00 to put me to sleep to put the implant in. I am researching other doctors in the triangle to make sure I get the best one and that this cost is comparable as my insurance covers $0 for implants. I think the $335.00 is a waste if your properly numbed. Overall good office experience.
