I called Tn. Thermal and advised the lady at the 800 #I wanted an estimate for 12 windows on my home and set an appt. time. The rep. was an hour late but traffic problems were understandable. I again stated the type of window I wanted, double hung with the window grids and E glass. He kept talking about how good his company was and finally I requested that he give me an estimate. He then wanted to know how much I wanted to spend and he could then give me an estimate. I laughingly said I would like to spend about $1.00 per window but wanted HIS estimate for the exact window I requested. I knew the type of window I want. He REFUSED to give me an estimate unless I told him how much I wanted to spend!!! I guess you could divide whatever amount by 12 windows and that's what they would cost each!. After I again requested he give me a written estimate, he refused again and quickly left in a huff. It was so ridiculous, I was laughing as he left my home! I have never in my life called a company for an estimate and they sent someone out that REFUSED to give one. That is my first and LAST dealings with this Company!. I 'm hopeful the person writing the other review was not treated the same way- spending over $8000 for 11 windows.
