Review content:
I brought my wheaten terrier in to the "dapper doggery" today to use the "wash your own dog" self-wash. The owner checked me in. I bathed my dog and was halfway through drying him, when the owner came and said, "We need this dryer now. We can't stop production for you." They had me using the same equipment that the paid staff needed to use. I was a little irritated, and went to pay, assuming I'd be given some sort of discount for the inconvenience of leaving with a wet, curly, half-done dog. No such luck. When I was asked to pay full price, I paid, and then I explained that as a paying customer, I was considered a part of the shop's "production", and that I was upset that I was leaving with a wet dog. The owner responded, saying that they were busy and didn't know what I expected, and that the other employees get a little "testy" when they have to wait to use the dryer. I told her that my expectation was to not leave with a wet dog. At that point she had my money and didn't make any effort to rectify the situation, so I left. I put my wet dog on the leather front seat of my car, drove home, and dried him at home with my blow-dryer. I won't be returning.
