I bought a 20 year old house last year with a tile roof, and some of the tiles started sliding off. I didn't think that the previous owners had done any work on the roof, so I wasn't sure if I could just replace the tiles, or if more work needed to be done.
I got in touch with Express Roofing, and they sent Renee out to do an inspection of the roof free of charge. He recommended that I replace the supports because of the age of the roof. He explained how a tile roof was put together, with the paper and the supports, and also gave me an estimate.
Because it was expensive, they also let me know of a few smaller contractors who could just replace the tiles and also encouraged me to get other estimates. Express Roofing was never pushy to try to get me to commit. He took his time to explain the materials the company uses, and why these materials are better quality than those on my roof at the time. He really took his time to explain everything.
I ended up getting the new roof with Express Roofing. They replaced the shingle tabs around the AC unit, the supports, and the paper. They also found replacements for the tiles that were missing. It took three and a half days.
They started when they promised and ended in the time frame estimated. It looks good, and I like it. We have now had several storms, and there have been no problems. I'm really satisfied.
Jeff is very respectful of potential customers and patient in explaining the process including what you can and can't expect. After the job was finished I got a 10 year warranty in the mail outlining what they would and wouldn't replace. I wasn't expecting to get that warranty, so it was great. They really are a friendly and customer oriented company.
