Review content:
I recently had the owners of Bella Vista frame a $10,000 painting for an event. This painting was the centerpiece that was to be mounted over a bar area. When picking the painting up, I noted that it seems a little loose, but otherwise OK. I did not say anything since we had to have it and I did not notice the wrinkles on the bottom of the painting. But I did notice this the night before once the painting was placed and it was unacceptable. We were lucky that the party host was friends with a local framer in her town. The event location is 110 miles from the Bella Vista, so it was impossible to take the painting back to them. The framer said that several things were done wrong, so I had him draft a letter to address these items.
