I recently took my two small dogs to Preston to be housed together during a one week vacation. We had taken one of our dogs there before, and like one of the other reviewers, I always got a sense that the staff was not particularly experienced in handling dogs. Other than the receptionist, I found the other staff to be generally very young and not particularly friendly. When we picked up our dogs, I noticed that one of them had been bathed (we did not ask for that service) while the other had not. The dog that had not been bathed came home with an eye abrasion and a bad infection that we discovered after taking the dog to the vet. That dog's condition deteriorated over the course of the week, and he sadly passed away just a week after we picked him up from Preston. I cannot be sure of what happened during the week we were gone, but I find my experience with Preston to be extremely worrisome, and I will not return.
