I went to A La Mode salon based on the reviews on this website. I had just moved into the Eagle Rock area and needed a good hair stylist desperately (due to a hair color disaster that was making my hair break off). I got my long, middle-of-my-back hair cut up to my chin by Alina, and I absolutely loved it!! Very few stylists can make a short hair cut look so good that you don't miss the long hair, but Alina did it! The salon itself is adorable, looks like you're in someone's house getting your haircut, and Alina is so friendly that you instantly feel comfortable. I highly recommend A La Mode-in fact, I'm making another appt . to get a trim right after I write this review! :)
