My boyfriend and I applied here and were rejected because they said he had an eviction. He has never been evicted so we were a little baffled. When we asked for more details, the front desk girls told us where he had been evicted from and when. We went to that apartment complex, which neither of us has ever lived in, and had her fax something over saying he never lived there. What had happened is on an Experian credit report, my boyfriend's report was mixed with other people with similarly sounding names, but spelled differently. One of them has been evicted. Even after we sent documentation showing this error, Oak Creek's screeners, a place called Screener's Inc. (they have a PO Box and a fax, but no phone or street address-sounds like a real upstanding company), still denied us. They also won't refund our application fees, even though they basically screened the wrong person. The complex might be nice to live in, but getting into it is total hell. Any idiot could have looked at my boyfriend's three reports to see that the one Experian did was wrong. I guess these people are less than idiots.
