Review content:
I've been going to my local Walgreens for at least 10 years. I was running errands on a Saturday morning and decided to stop at a different Walgreens since it was close to where I was running my errands. I called the pharmacy and asked about getting a certain wound dressing/adhesive. I can honestly say this Pharmacist was one of the rudest people I've talked to on a phone. I asked if they had a wound dressing/adhesive in stock as it must be ordered by a pharmacist (they also keep the item behind the pharmacy counter) even though you don't need a prescription to buy them. She said she had some in stock. My regular Walgreens is open 24 hours but I wasn't sure about this Walgreens. I said "How late is the store open and could you please give me your name (thinking I might have to ask for her to get the wound dressing/adhesive). She said in the most sarcastic tone, "We're open until 10:00 PM and you don't need to know my name. Any person can give you the order because it's not prescription". I was stunned and I'm pretty sure there was a couple seconds of silence and then we both hung up the phone. Stay away. Money is tight and businesses should be trying to bring in new customers, not drive them away. I will not step foot in that store again. I contacted the store manager and explained the situation to him. He said there was absolutely no reason I should be treated in that manner. He seemed even more upset that the Pharmacist (for some reason) refused to tell me her name. Who knows?
