I was shocked by the unprofessional nature of our first visit. Dr. Zand created one of the most awkward moments I have ever had with a veterinarian. It seemed as if he was upset working on a Saturday, and wanted to get the appointment over with as soon as possible. After the rabies vaccination, he said the dog would have symptoms of a fever. When we asked him what the symptoms would be, he said, "You should know, you're the owner." This wasn't exactly the answer I was looking for. Something along the lines of a wet nose, lethargic movement, etc would have been nice. Furthermore, we asked the receptionist if we could vaccinate our puppy and clip his nails in one visit. The receptionist said it was OK. After vaccination was complete, the doctor led us out, and we asked what about the nail clippings? At that point, my boyfriend and I were becoming infuriated, and my boyfriend said, "Why should I have to ask you if I already asked your receptionist?" He then turned away and said nothing. In my mind, what is the point of a receptionist if they are not going to relay to the doctor what services are needed to be rendered? At this point, after being talked down to for the entire appointment, we decided never to come back to this place. Reading the other reviews, this may sound like an anomaly, but I would rather my vet visits not become a place of confrontation. Cons: So-called Dr...
