Review content:
We have been taking our dog (now dogs) to Pet Health for nearly four years now for grooming. The groomer they had when we first started going was really good. She seemed to be able to follow our instructions on the form. We were always happy. Since about a year or so ago after they got a new groomer, this one just can't seem to get it right. The first time it looked like we had never even taken our dog to be groomed there was so much hair still left on him. Now we have two dogs (both pekingese) and we took them yesterday. This time she shaved them! We did not ask for that. My husband was the one who filled out the paperwork so he was the one who called about it. The groomer said she followed some sort of directions on the form about how many inches to leave or something to that effect, but the thing is that there's not any inches of hair left at all. They are shaved! Not a hair cut, they are shaved. This is 45 dollars a pop for each dog. They didn't even offer any sort of reimbursement. The receptionist told my husband that she thought they were still cute, but number one, her opinion is not what counts, and number two, they look awful to us. So I would think twice about having your pet groomed there or ask to talk to the groomer personally instead of just filling out the form and handing it over to the receptionist because obviously there are communication problems with that stupid form they use.
