Review content:
The doctor we saw was not Dr. Winer, when the appt. was scheduled I was told his name and did not write it down. He never introduced himself or shook my hand. The appt. was for my two young children, he had them each hold these brass looking things that were connected to a computer, he did not explain to me what he was doing, or discovering as he wrote notes down into a notebook. When I looked over his shoulder and tried to ask questions he told me most people wouldn't understand. Next, he had each of my children lie on the examining table and he called in a receptionist who held on to my child's hand with her other arm extended. This man placed bottles of herbs and vitamins on different parts of my children's bodies and then pressed down on the receptionists arm. It meant something the further down he could push her arm, but I do not know what; again, not explained to me. The next thing I know Dr. Winer was in the office telling me he could cure my children of all of their allergies if I come back for treatment and do not vaccinate my children. He then asked me if I vaccinate my kids and I proclaimed a proud yes. He told me he had literature he would give me if I would read it and not throw it in the trash. I told him I would read anything, I have an open mind, but I can't take the immunizations out of my children. He was extremely condescending. I assumed I would receive a recommendation based on their findings as to a course of action to pursue regarding my kids health and holistic treatment, instead the cost of vitamins and herbs were rolled into the cost of our visit for a whopping $300.00; the appointment itself was only $50.00/ person. My children were never weighed and I have no idea the amounts of the herbs and supplements to given them safely. Despite all of this, my one child has a severe nut allergy and they gave me something to give her which has a peanut/ tree nut cross contamination warning on the label. Very unprofessional. I am researching the herbs etc. myself on the internet.
