Review content:
We perchased some "Freddy's Homemade Potato Lefsa 20oz. package produced in West Fargo, ND. When we got it home and opened it it had mold on the inside where it couldn't be seen. We live over an hour away in Erskine, MN so it was a week before it could be returned. When I took it into the store to return it I was told that it is the store policy that any returns must have a receipt and there are no exceptions. I tried to explain that I live 60 miles away. Again I was told no exceptions. I then asked to speak to a manager & a young man came up & I told him the same story & got the same reply. At this point I lost my cool and said that Wal-Mart across the street would take things back without having to produce a receipt so from now on I would just do all my shopping there if they didn't want my business. By then several other customers were watching what was going on so I showed them that the Lefsa had mold in it. At that point they said I couldn't do that and I told them that I was an American and I could do what I damn well wanted. At that point they said they were going to call security so I told them go ahead & I would wait for them. A few minutes later a Sargent from Bemidji's finest pulled up out front and came inside and said that if I didn't leave he would have to arrest me for disturbing the peace so I left the store with my moldy Lefsa vowing to never to spend another penny there again and that I would tell everyone that would listen my story. I'm 65 years old and relative calm about most things but this just pissed me off. How many people save their receipts for weeks on end? I do so just wait till the next time I go to Bemidji, should be really full of mold by then. Don't mess with us old farts, we have a lot of time on our hands to think of ways to get even. Thanks Judy, I feel better now
