Review content:
The sales representative whp assisted me, Dori Harris, provided excellent assistance. Her professionalism, knowledge & efficiency are commendable. SD Hardware has an extremely nice showroom, a good selection, & makes a customer feel welcome. I find it extremely annoying when a sales repreentative makes you feel like he/she is doing you a favor & I never got that feeling there from anyone. My only concern is that I feel the prices are quite high. I would have purchased some additional items but the cost of what I purchased was so high that it cut into my budget much more so than I anticipated. Would I return for purchases in the future --- Yes. I don't mind paying somewhat higher prices for a good selection & high customer service which is certainly provided. But the flip side of that is that I am retired. So I need to monitor my spending, especially in today's economy. In the future I will do more comparative pricing. And I would sacrifice what SD Hardware provides to a customer if I could locate a comparable item at a more competitive price. Make no mistake though, SD Hardware is a quality retailer.

While we appreciate, very much, the nice words from this reviewer, we would like to comment on what was said about our prices. The products in our showroom are "mid to high end" products. The "big box" stores tend to carry products in the "low to mid" price range so, of course, if you compare, for example, one of our special locksets to what you find in a "big box" store you are going to find that ours is more expensive. When compared with other retailers selling the same or similar products you will find that our prices are competitive or lower. Other reviewers on this site have testified to this fact.
