Review content:
Hi! My name is Rose, and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. Thanks to Gwinnett College, I am a graduate of three programs – Computer Information Systems, Massage Therapy, and Associate of Science Degree in Business. In addition, I am 25 hours away from the completion of the Personal Trainer Program. That’s quite an accomplishment for me.
I first enrolled at Gwinnett College in 1999. I was 35 years old, had a family, and construction work was all I knew how to do. I desperately needed a career change. I needed to learn a new profession and needed to enhance my technical skills. So that’s what I did.
Later I decided that I wanted to work in a profession where I could help others and also gain health benefits for myself. That’s when I pursued massage therapy and personal training. I have found my skill, my profession!
I recently received my Georgia state license, and thanks to the job placement program at Gwinnett College, I am working in the field in my new career path. I currently work for SG Pain Management in Duluth, and Falcon Fitness and Optimum Body Care in Flowery Branch. I now have a handful of my own clients¬ -how great is that!
Gwinnett College is THE BEST THING that has ever happened to me! In 14 years of association with them, I highly recommend them. Not only are they the best staff, instructors, and classmates, but to me they are life-long friends.
