Forrest epitomizes the notion of a polished turd. They have a fancy looking office but don’t live up to their visual appearance with any sort of professionalism or reasonable treatment of people.
My “manager” was generally and genuinely incompetent, and did not understand the broad strokes or the brass tacks of the client operation he was attempting to manage. Similarly the additional Forrest staff that were placed on the assignment did not possess their advertised qualifications.
In addition to seeming totally lost, the Forrest manager gave initial instructions were that were counter to client’s desires, he mis-scheduled start dates and times of various Forrest staff assigned to the project, and he made glaringly inappropriate comments for any workplace. The manager also allowed the persistence of inappropriate work habits that violated the privacy of the client.
