I agree with the positive comments that the staff are friendly, the common areas are fun for the kids, and everything is very clean. The first couple of normal check-ups that only required your standard cleaning, was a great experience. However, the last two visits required fillings and it was my little ones first experience. The visit and situation seemed to escalate from befriending my little girl, to a change in Dr. Shannon's tone, and escalated to physical restraint by the Dr. and two of his hygenist. I could hear her screaming from the waiting area so I walked back and she was so upset she couldn't catch her breath. I observed them physically restraining her and his tone; I immediately stepped in the room. Dr. Shannon was frustrated and said, 'this isn't working, we'll have to do this another time, and she needs to go under sedation.' It has been close to a year, and she still talks about this horrifying experience. I wouldn't recommend this practice unless your children are older and compliant with dental visits.
