Review content:
My husband recently visited their ER, as it is right down the street from our home, because he was very ill. . There was NO ONE in the ER. From the getgo, the nurse was rude! She took his temp and didn't even bother to tell us what it was. When we got to the room, the doctor quickly came in, asked a few questions and determined that he had "the miseries?" Never heard of it, and he didn't bother to explain. He ordered him to be put on antibiotics and gave him a prescription for percocet and again failed to tell us why he was being put on these medications. The nurse came in and handed us discharge papers and basically told us to get out of the ER. This all happened in less then 30 minutes. When I reviewed the papers, before leaving, I then discovered that my husband was diagnosed with bronchitis (never mentioned to us while there), and had symptoms of H1N1 (not mentioned either). I approached the nurse, who was doing "busy work" at his station and asked him to please explain and he looked at me like deer headlights and basically told me to read the discharge papers! We left there very unsatisfied! I am a victim of medical negligence and Providence displayed many signs of that in the short 30 minutes we were there! If you care for your loved ones DO NOT go there if you live in Southern Oregon, or just visiting. I highly recommend Rogue Valley Medical Center as they have better staff and better service!!
