Businiess name:  Carlsbad High School
Review by:  Jennifer K.
Review content:
This is the older of the 2 high schools in Carlsbad. I was a student there from 1992-1996. I'm sure a lot has changed since then, but I know that there is much the same. This is a good school to go to and does offer quite a range of AP classes, as well as extracurricular activities. The education you receive there really depends on the student's interest, drive, and also the luck of the draw when it comes to the teachers. I had many dedicated teachers who made learning relevant for us, but also quite a few who just seemed to be biding their time. The band in my time was quite small, but hard-working. They are much larger now and sound great, winning many awards. There are also a great range of clubs students can join, from Key Club to Christian Club to AVID.
