We ended up at this dealership when our AC stopped working in 100 degree heat while on our way from VA to OH. We were told that every component of the AC system was ruined and were quoted $3,000.00 for the repair. We declined the repair, and we were assured that the car could be safely driven. Nothing they told us was true, least of all that the car could be driven. 50 miles down the road, the car stopped working because w/out the AC compressor, the belt that runs the alternator and other systems could not turn. We were towed to a local shop and stayed overnight in a hotel while the shop replaced the compressor (all other components of the AC system were fine) for $800.00. Get the word out - Pohanka is dishonest and unethical - their actions directly lead to a situation where we were stranded in dangerous heat with a child in the car.
