Because this hotel inspired the author of the horror movie The Shining, guests of this luxury hotel can also indulge themselves in ghost tours of the property and watch The Shining whenever they feell like it. Besides its otherworldly attributes, this hotel wraps you in traditional luxury. All the rooms have big beds and soft towels and bedding. The hotel also has several cottages and villas that include kitchens and hot tubs. This hotel is located right in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, off of an alpine lake. Standard room prices start at 110 dollars and customer service here is very good.
