If you're looking for the best shave ice around, you've come to the right place. Aloha Shave Ice, located right when you enter Paia town across from the Shell gas station, has by far the BEST shave ice around! If you're looking for a little snack after hitting the beach, they also offer plate lunches to go. I have to admit that I'm a little partial to this little store because my grandfather owns and works here. He cooks all of the food himself. The same food that we all grew up on is the same food that he cooks to this day. Chili, beef stew and more are some of my favorites. All plate lunches are served with rice and mac salad.
