Review content:
Transmission repair service in Hayward. I was traveling on vacation with my family when my vehicle's transmission completely broke near Hayward. We were a long way from home. I called Walts Transmission Service and spoke to Walt. He arranged for a tow truck and had his staff check out our vehicle right away. I do most of my own work on my vehicles so I suspected the transmission would need to be rebuilt or replaced. Walt was upfront about the prices and time it would take. A rebuilt transmission was needed. Walt had one of his staff drive me and my family to a rental car facility so we could return home while the repairs were made. I checked around the DFW area, and the price Walt quoted me was less than anywhere I checked. When I picked up my newly repaired vehicle, the price was the same that I had been quoted by Walt (no unexpected add-ons). It has been a couple months since Walts Transmission Service fixed my vehicle and it is driving like new. Walts Transmission Service was courteous, professional, honest, and fair. We were stranded far from home and they could have taken advantage of that situation, but they treated us right. Needless to say, I recommend Walts Transmission Service without hesitation.
