my fiance and myself recently had to move to a nearby town into a home that does not allow animals. We have had our cat Abby for over a year now. She was originally a stray that made our house a true home, She was the most loving cat that I have ever had the pleasure of calling our own. The first day that we moved into the house we remember seeing her in the yard and thought that she might be hungry so we offered her a piece of bologna that she enjoyed. We noticed that she had an extra toe on each one of her front paws. It took some time for her to come into our house although she would let us pet her and scratch behind her ears. It was that first time that she rubbed against our legs wanting some affection and to just be loved, that we fell totally in love with her. Even though she was a stray, she didnt let her misfortune get to her, she has never bitten us, growled at us or even "swatted" at us except for when she was being frisky and playful. When we moved, we decided to take her to the humane society. She was pregnant and due any day. When we dropped her off the young lady there was very nice to us and told us that they would take good care of her and that they would defiantly be able to find her a home because she was loving and especially because she had those extra toes. She also told us that her kittens would be born there and they would find good homes for them very easily. The woman there told us that we could come back at anytime to see her and even call if we were worried about her. We also told her that if anything was to happen to call us and we would find someone to take her if we needed to. She said that everything was going to be okay with her and that this was the best thing to do because they would take good care of her and her kittens. Today my fiance and I were back in Tallahassee for a doctors appointment and we figured that we would stop by and see her and her cute little kittens. Only to find out that they had aborted her seven or so kittens, when we ask why they simply told us that they
