As an experienced spa-goer in NYC and other cities across the US and overseas, I can confidently say Cachet is a low-class hole in the wall by many accounts - mostly attitude. The spas I've frequented in cachet's price range are very professional, even luxurious and attentive. BUT, Cachet makes you feel like you should thank THEM for your patronage.\r \r The front desk receptionist, Julia, is nice when she's selling, but a demon when it comes to taking your money. Instead of a relaxing and enjoyable time, she made me feel more stressed, cheated and disgusted when it was all finally over.\r \r I should have been forewarned when the place was empty. There were absolutely no clients other than myself on this regular afternoon. The lights were out on one side of the "shop," the massage room was frigid and remained so even after I complained of being cold.
