JD Migillicuddy's is one of the only bars of the area (Drexel Hill), and has the potential to be better with more crowds as they are bringing in better things. They've started getting some pretty good dance bands coming (like Saved by Zero), and the bar is very large with a dance floor, booths and tables to sit in the back, a large bar, a pool table, and sporting events on their televisions. I believe they do serve food earlier in the night as well.
On nights with dance bands and a packed floor (like St. Patrick's Day), it is a good place to party. They have been booking dance bands on holiday times (the friday before Halloween - wear a costume!), the day after Thankgiving, New Year's Eve, so those are definitely good nights to come out, check out a good band and have a couple drinks.
