Review content:
I am very disappointed in my experience with Shear Katz. I received a gift certificate to Shear Katz from my husband for my golden birthday. I was so excited and scheduled an appointment for a 60 minute facial. It seemed as though the whole process went by rather quickly, but I was not able to confirm this until I was back in my car. When I looked at the clock in my car, I realized the reason it did not feel like an hour was because it was not an hour at all. Of course I was charged for an hour facial, despite not even being parked for a total of an hour. Fortunately, I had my cell phone to call the receptionist because after realizing that I still had remnants of clay mask all over my face I was certainly not walking back through Fitgers...it's bad enough that I had to do it once. I was informed that I would be sent a gift certificate for the difference, which I declined, as I will never return to Shear Katz for any service. I was then offered another gift certificate for a mini facial, which I again declined. Finally, they agreed to refund the difference back to my card. So I ended up paying $50, including tip, for a rushed through facial that involved little massage and even less customer service. For $50, one can get an hour massage at Trends in Superior, where they give you a great facial, massage and even rub your feet. Pros: cute salon Cons: poor service/not worth the price
