Review content:
With its dark interior and plush booths, Jensen's is a throwback to the supper clubs of the 50s where every family ritual dinner took place - graduation, birthday, etc. Our last visit, our fourth, was typical - the food was great (interesting steak and seafood entrees done to perfection), service exemplary (family friendly from the hostess to the server to the manager), and Dad's martini was perfect. The server even ran out Mom's steak leftovers to the car after she left it on the table!
The kids all had good choices and great portions, and overall we didn't break the family bank like we could do in a fancy (and more pretentious)Minneapolis steak house. We have a new ritual gathering spot for these family dinners. Enjoy yourself and visit a hidden treasure in the south suburbs.
Pros: Great Value, Friendly
