Review content:
We performed at the Rock in Maplewood and just love this place. The staff is really nice and the drinks are great. This place is very roomy for a "strip mall venue". The sound system is awesome. It's clear, big, and loud. Reminds me of First Ave, or better.
Some big acts have graced that stage and it was an honor to perform there. If you haven't been to the Rock, I suggest going out to a few shows there, you'll be hooked on this place.
Smoking is allowed here, so if you don't like a smokey venue be warned, the couple of times we visited the Rock the smoke haze was pretty intense. Other than that, it's great: billiards, video games, great drinks, great live music on a stellar stage and system....this is THE place to be.
