After not being located near an Aveda salon for many years, I was thrilled to find one when we recently moved to the area. I requested a master stylist for color correction and had a great experience the first time. When that stylist was out for an extended period of time, the other stylist I tried kept me waiting for nearly an hour. Thrilled when my original stylist returned, I was anxious for her to do my color. I requested a color lighter, she gave me darker than when I went in. I called 3 days later and was given the third degree about correcting this color (I foolishly paid $180 for this) and was told that it was up to the stylist, if she so chose to do the correction. I was treated so poorly by staff on the phone- and accusingly, I will never go back. Sad- I liked their other services....but I was insulted and treated terribly, so bye bye Aveda.
