I ordered cupcakes for my son's birthday that was held along with a school function. I wanted really great cupcakes so I went to Nadine's because of the reputation. In a word: they were awful. They looked nice but were dry and stale and at a party of 100 kids, only 10 were eaten. When I placed my order, I should have been leery with their attitude towards customers. I kept getting pushed down the counter further and further as other customers were getting orders filled until I had to shout over another customer to place my order. The person waiting on me encouraged me to rent 2 tiers of a stand for display. What they don't tell you is they charge you for 5 tiers no matter how many you actually plan to use. I discovered later I could have bought a stand for what I paid to rent theirs. When I returned the overpriced stand, I told them how dissatisfied I was. The girl at the counter said the owner was in back and she would go tell him. The owner wouldn't even come out to talk to me. He said the cupcakes were made that day and they were not stale. If they were made that day I would think he would be more apologetic for them tasting so badly. There is no concern for customer service at this place. I would never buy from them again after this experience.
