Businiess name:  Uwajimaya Seattle Store
Review by:  Alma L.
Review content:
Uwajimaya is located in Seattle's International District. This is a wonderful place for anyone who has any interest in Asian foods, gifts, and supplies for daily living to go. The main part of the store is reserved for grocery items, and they devote half an aisle just to soy sauce, the other half to rice and noodles, etc. Many of the items are shipped straight from Asia, and have no English "words" to indicate what the food is, what its use is, or even what the ingredients are. I find that to be half the fun, and buying items that are completely foreign not just in use but in flavour and texture is always an interesting experience. The fresh fruit and veggie section is very large and has many exotic ingredients that cannot be found in mainstream grocery stores. The meat and seafood section is large and expansive as well. Even if you do not need groceries, I would seriously advise one to go to Uwajimaya if for nothing more than the experience it provides.
